Die Zeichnungen
Aldo Giannotti´s dienen als Anleitung sozialplastischer Konzepte,
die mittels
performativer Aufführung, Installation oder skulpturaler Gestaltung auf
Widerständigkeit und Potential überprüft werden. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei
immer die Beziehung von Menschen mit ihrer Umgebung sowie die physische- wie
symbolische Infrastruktur des sozialen Raumes. Mit dem Stilmittel der Wortwiederholung verstärkt, kommentiert
und hinterfragt kritisch Giannotti soziale Gewohnheiten und Interdependenzen.
Aldo Giannotti's drawings serve as a guide to socio-plastic concepts, which are checked for resistance and potential by means of performance, installation or sculptural design. The focus is always on the relationship between people and their environment as well as the physical and symbolic infrastructure of the social space. With the stylistic device of word repetition, Giannotti reinforces, comments and at the same time critically questions social habits and interdependencies.
