ANOTHERDAYINCAPITALISM is an exhibition
that depicts a social and political position of this world. Is it possible to
live in a system and take both advantage of it and criticise it? Is this compromise,
sometimes ridiculous and inconsistent, a functional strategy to exploit and
change attitudes towards consumption? Or rather is it a way to cope with a
guiltiness that remains subliminal in the status quo?
With a series of video works, photos and installations, Pablo Chiereghin
collects and transforms input from the real world, connecting his expat, or
rather migrant background. Playing with his own sense of guiltiness, he
proposes alternative ways of moving, earning, behaving - odd hacks and small
strategies.

ANOTHERDAYINCAPITALISM
ist eine Ausstellung, die eine gesellschaftliche und politische Position dieser
Welt darstellt. Ist es möglich, in einem System zu leben und es sowohl zu
nutzen als auch zu kritisieren? Ist dieser manchmal lächerliche und
inkonsistente Kompromiss eine funktionale Strategie, um die Konsumeinstellung
auszunutzen und zu ändern? Oder ist es eher ein Weg, mit einer Schuld
umzugehen, die im Status quo unterschwellig bleibt?
Mit einer Reihe von
Videoarbeiten, Fotos und Installationen sammelt und transformiert Pablo
Chiereghin Inputs aus der realen Welt und verbindet so seinen Expat- bzw.
Migrationshintergrund. Er spielt mit seinem eigenen Schuldgefühl und schlägt
alternative Wege vor, sich zu bewegen, zu verdienen, sich zu verhalten -
seltsame Hacks und kleine Strategien.
